What's life on an aircraft carrier really like?

Carrier is a 10-part series about the lives of those who served on the USS Nimitz. The program is a character-driven, edge-of-your-seat, nonfiction drama and a once-in-a-lifetime total immersion in the high-stakes world of a nuclear aircraft carrier. Carrier follows a core group of film participants aboard the USS Nimitz, from the admiral of the strike group to the fighter pilots to the youngest sailors, as they navigate personal conflicts around their jobs, families, faith, patriotism, love, the rites of passage and the war on terror.

In an effort similar to CET's project for Ken Burns' The War, members of the community were invited to share their personal stories relating to life on an aircraft carrier. These stories have been compiled and are available indefinitely on CETconnect.org for Greater Cincinnatians and the world to see.
