Reg Merwin veteran of the USS Ticonderoga tells what it was like to be aboard a carrier during the Vietnam War. Reg had the very dangerous job of loading missiles onto fighter planes. Life aboard a carrier during the Vietnam War was very different than the one shown on the Carrier series.The USS Ticonderoga was an attack carrier which was involved in many combat sorties.
