FOCUS: ELECTION 2008 - DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES FORUM, OHIO 2nd CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT
Tuesday at 7pm on CET |
| |
On this special episode of Focus, Kathy Lehr is joined by Maryanne Zeleznik, news director of 91.7 WVXU, and Howard Wilkinson, political reporter, The Cincinnati Enquirer, to talk with the democratic candidates for Ohio’s Second Congressional District Steve Black and Dr. Victoria Wulsin.
A third candidate, William R. Smith, was invited but said he is unable to attend adding that he appreciated the invitation.
|
|
CET also planned a similar debate with the Republican candidates but only one candidate agreed to appear. As a result, we offered each candidate the opportunity to tape a five-minute presentation so that they could introduce themselves and their platform to the voters.
Candidate videos are posted as they become available. |

Representative Tom Brinkman has served Ohio in the General Assembly for nearly eight years. During that time, Brinkman was selected not once, but twice, as the "Most Principled" lawmaker by his peers, members of the media, and Ohio's governor. First elected to represent Ohio's 34th House District back in 2000, Brinkman campaigned on the promise to eliminate the E-Check program. And shortly after he was sworn into office, he delivered on that promise. Since that time, Tom has continued to deliver on promises he's made as a candidate and a state representative, and that reputation forms the foundation for his campaign to represent the 2nd District in the United States Congress. For more information, visit Tom Brinkman's website. |
