Focus, Kathy Lehr is joined by Maryanne Zeleznik and Ray Cooklis. They talk with the candidates for Ohio's Second Congressional District. Topics discussed will include the local and national economy, energy independence, health care, the war in Iraq, employment, immigration, and foreign policy.
The Second Congressional District is currently represented by Republican Jean Schmidt. The last Democrat to win a full term in this district was John J. Gilligan in 1964 and the district (known as the first district before 1982) has been in Republican hands for all but nine years since 1879.
