"I can do it," sing the kids at Children Inc. That can-do attitude is part of an initiative called
Songs of Resilience
, which the nonprofit Northern Kentucky childcare agency developed with musician and songwriter David Kisor. A guide and 27 songs used by the teachers at Children Inc. centers and after-school programs enhance kids' self-control, initiative and attachment. A parent version of the guide will be released in October.
