The New Metropolis: A Crack in the Pavement – A Local Follow-Up Conversation

''A Crack in the Pavement'' is part one of a two-part documentary entitled The New Metropolis that deals with America's deteriorating ''first suburbs.'' The film highlights the current situation of two of Cincinnati's ''first suburbs'' namely Elmwood Place and Madeira. Both of these ''first suburbs'' are experiencing serious infrastructure challenges. The discussion of America's first suburbs, and their current predicament, does not end with the documentary. During this program, host Dan Hurley talks with an expert panel, featuring the filmmaker of The New Metropolis documentary series and local and national experts, who discuss their proposed strategies to revitalize and reinvent local urban and suburban communities.
