Local educators share their experiences on a trip to Belize as they learned more about the terrestrial, coastal, and coral reef communities while learning about conservation programs on such species as jaguars, howler monkeys and manatees. Michael Baker talks with Jan Dietrich, one of the course instructors and School Services Coordinator at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden; Jill Korach, also a course instructor and the Earth Expeditions Program Manager at Miami University’s Project Dragonfly; Catherine del Campo Hartman, 11th grade teacher at Fairfield High School; and Barb Hartwick, a reading teacher at Lakota Schools.
