No Retakes - A Look at the Lives of Katie and Karen Reider

Program Length: 58 minutes

Katie Reider was a Cincinnati born and raised singer/songwriter whose life and career were cut short by a non-cancerous tumor that took away her ability to speak and perform. Katie's untimely death, at age 30, in July 2008 touched and inspired thousands in Greater Cincinnati and beyond. In this hour-long special, independent filmmaker Robert Parish (host/producer of CET's IN THE TANK CINCINNATI) – who's been following the Reider's story for more than a year – explores how Katie’s family (especially her partner, Karen and their two children) has been coping, and how nearly everyone Katie connected with in life have been transformed since her passing.
