New locally produced arts & cultural series premieres on CET Arts
Focus, CET’s bi-monthly public affairs program will take a look at several issues on the November 8, 2011 ballot.
CET Arts will expand its catalog of local content beginning this fall and winter with the addition of several arts programs and performance specials from the greater Cincinnati area.
CINCINNATI -CET will premiere two all-new half-hour documentaries, Eden Park: Cincinnati's Garden of Eden and Ault Park: Emerald in the Crown, on July 21 beginning at 9 p.m.
CINCINNATI – CET, channel 48/WCET, has been nominated by the Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for two regional Emmy awards for work on local programming and multimedia curriculum for educators.
Event to be held at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center on May 10
CINCINNATI – CET is partnering with the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center to host a preview screening of “Freedom Riders,” as well as a Q&A session with a former Freedom Rider, on May 10 at 6:30 p.m.
CET will host its seventh annual fundraising gala, “Live on CET!” in the ballroom at Historic Music Hall on Wednesday, May 25 from 5:30 – 9 p.m.
CINCINNATI – CET wrapped up its 44th annual Action Auction, which took place April 6 – 9, and was successful in meeting the $180,000 auction fundraising goal.
The Action Auction is CET’s largest fundraiser of the year, which provides critical funds to ensure CET can continue its mission to educate, entertain and enrich the lives of people in living rooms and classrooms in the Greater Cincinnati area through programming and educational services.
