Inspired by the tragic death of young Jarod Bennett in 2003, Ohio Administrative Code chapter 3701-54, also known as ''Jarod's Law,'' assisted school administrators and teachers in creating a safe and healthy learning environment for all students and staff. Though repealed in 2009 due to budget restrictions, the requirements of the law helped bring about significant advances in safety in Ohio's schools. In collaboration with Cincinnati Public Schools, CET taped and segmented a professional development opportunity related to Jarod's Law for educators. These videos are now available for on-demand viewing. For more information about the law, visit the State of Ohio website.
