The Male and Female winners of the prestigious LaRosa's "High School MVP of the Year" Award were announced at the annual Buddy LaRosa's Sports Hall of Fame Banquet Sunday, June 22. Inaugurated in 1986, the LaRosa's Male and Female MVPs of the Year awards are the only such awards given annually in Greater Cincinnati to honor outstanding high school athletic achievement.

The six finalists for the LaRosa's High School Female MVP of the Year Award are:

• Kirsten Allen, Senior, Ryle High School
• Margaret Fish, Senior, Indian Hill High School
• Amber Gray, Senior, Lakota West High School
• Missy Harpenau, Senior, Mercy High School
• Kiondra McGee, Senior, Ursuline Academy
• Sarah Tanner, Senior, Ursuline High School
