Qualifications: |
Knowledge and understanding of television air operation and techniques. A working knowledge of analog and digital technologies and engineering practices. Must be PC proficient, well organized and have effective problem solving skills. Must be able to work evenings and weekends. High school graduate or GED, college degree preferred. |
Principal Duties: |
- Maintain quality control of all CET audio, video and data material, including cable, fiber, analog, and digital feeds.
- Maintain the station’s logs as required by the FCC and/or as directed by the organization.
- Operate and patch video tape machines.
- Control, adjust, and setup studio camera systems.
- Operate and control TV transmitter remote control and automatic logging systems.
- Monitor multiple running playlists for CET broadcast & cable channels through a Harris automation system with Pinnacle server, Digicart audio, Deko graphics, and videotape machines as playout devices.
- Identify and solve problems quickly for smooth, error-free air. Record any discrepancies on trouble reports.
