November brings some amazing shows lined-up for the Membership Drive. Here’s what you have to look forward to:

Nature: Snow Bears

Travel to the Arctic to experience the journey of newborn polar bear cubs. See for the first time the challenges and many dangers that these polar bear cubs will experience for the first time as they leave their den. With their mother they will make a treacherous and exciting voyage of 400 miles to get food from the sea. They undertake an epic survival challenge that encounter extreme weather, Snow drifts, dangerous ice, as well as an array of threatening animals like Artic foxes, and male bears ready to kill. Watch these emerging cubs on an expedition not usually seen by the human eye, and a glimpse into their world.   


Donny Osmond: One Night Only

In 2017, Donny Osmond embarked on a sold-out United Kingdom arena tour. In August 2012, legendary singer-songwriter Neil Diamond made a triumphant return to the celebrated Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. This magical evening celebrated the 40th anniversary of the original multiplatinum-selling Hot August Night collection that was recorded at the same venue in 1972.

From the fine acoustic twang of “Forever in Blue Jeans” to the pure Americana swing of “Kentucky Woman,” from the eternal sing-along sunshine of “Sweet Caroline” to the raw emotionality of “I Am…I Said” and the welcoming arms of “America,'' Hot August Night III cements Diamond's mastery of the live stage and his unique connection with audiences the world over.


Celtic Woman: Ancient Land

Delight in the shimmering voices and enchanting music of this new concert featuring the stunning new music from their latest album, Ancient Land, along with a selection of timeless classics. This performance also introduces the newest member of Celtic Woman, 21-year-old Megan Walsh, making her debut.

Joining Celtic Woman will be a choir and Irish dancers, as well as an orchestra and some of Ireland’s finest musicians playing an array of Celtic instruments, including Uilleann pipes, whistles, percussion and bagpipes.


Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers – from Gainesville: The 30th Anniversary Concert

Welcomed as hometown heroes and presented with the keys to the city by Gainesville’s mayor, Petty and The Heartbreakers — joined on several songs by special guest Stevie Nicks — performed an electrifying and emotional concert on September 21 at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center. By this time, Petty and The Heartbreakers had been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002 (their first year of eligibility), sold millions of records, and Petty had become a rock icon and one of the best-selling artists of all time.

Now viewers can celebrate with the overjoyed fans in this taped program of the live concert featuring some of their greatest hits like “Free Fallin,’” “Mary Jane’s Last Dance,” “I Won’t Back Down” and more.


Brit Floyd: 40 Years of the Wall

Brit Floyd, the world’s greatest Pink Floyd tribute show, returns to the stage in 2019 with its most ambitious and best production yet, a very special 40th Anniversary retrospective of Pink Floyd’s iconic rock opera, ‘The Wall’.

The Brit Floyd show has truly become a phenomenon, widely regarded as the world's greatest live tribute to Pink Floyd. Faithfully recreating the scale and pomp of the final 1994 Division Bell tour, complete with a stunning million-dollar light show, large circle screen and arch plus moving lights, lasers, inflatables and theatrics.

As well as performing a host of musical highlights from “The Wall,” Brit Floyd will perform classic gems from “The Dark Side of the Moon,” “Wish You Were Here,” “Animals” and “The Division Bell” plus lots more.

Great Performances presents an unprecedented union of two of the greatest living jazz singers, Tony Bennett and Diana Krall, as they honor the legacy of the premiere songwriting duo of the Great American Songbook, George and Ira Gershwin. In Love is Here to Stay, Bennett and Krall team up to perform definitive interpretations of Gershwin favorites such as “Love is Here to Stay,” “Fascinating Rhythm” and “They Can’t Take That Away From Me.” Behind-the-scenes sequences recorded during the making of their Billboard #1 jazz album, “Love is Here to Stay,” highlight the personal and musical rapport that these two artists have established over the course of their 20-year friendship. Interviews with Bennett and Krall reveal the meaning behind the music and the process of creating this collaborative album together.
