"The Great American Read" Returns September 11

The Great American Read, which kicked off in May, returns September 11 with six new episodes leading up to the finale on October 23. From Diane Lane to Margaret Atwood and George R. R. Martin to Neil deGrasse Tyson, these episodes include celebrities, authors and everyday people talking about their favorite books and the impact those book made on their lives. Voting has been open since the premiere and, to date, more than a million votes have been received. In Cincinnati, the watch parties will be September 11, September 25 and October 9 at 8pm at UC Library’s Langsam Library (2911 Woodside Drive). In Dayton, we’ll be screening The Great American Read: Villains and Monsters with the Dayton Metro Library at their main branch from 5:30pm to 7pm on Monday, October 1.
