From the Top Cincinnati
Music and applause filled Music Hall in November 2004 when "From the Top" taped talented young area musicians for their popular public radio program. CET's cameras were in the hall as the performersall under the age of 18played classical works and shared stories with the program's host, Christopher O'Reily.
In January, 2005, CET featured a half-hour special program that gave a preview of this "From the Top" episode. For the program, these exceptionally talented young people were interviewed and discussed their music and details from their lives that showed when they are not on stage or engrossed in their music, they are just normal kids.
From the Top is carried by 250 stations nationwide and draws 700,000 listeners each week. From the Top is the fastest growing show in public radio history, ranking in the top five national one-hour weeklies.
