When people hear "digital television," they think of the High Definition Television, with its widescreen, eye-popping pictures and crystal clear sound, but CET Digital service includes much more:Multicasting
The new digital channel allows CET to transmit multiple programs and services. For example, your child may be able to watch Arthur in the family room while you enjoy Frontline in the living room. Still another member of your household could be taking a college course—all through the same channel.Enhanced TV
Since digital broadcasting converts images and sound to computer-friendly bits and bytes, it can be used to distribute data at high speed. We are developing services for schools that will provide additional information in the form of text, photos and video while students and teachers are watching a program.Imagine!
