Calling All Young Artists
Do you know a child that has an eye for art? Gather up all those drawings off the refrigerator and submit them to CET's annual art show, Create-A-Fest! Anyone in kindergarten through eighth grade is eligible to enter their best drawing, painting or sculpture. Artwork is put on display at CET and entrants could win prizes for their submissions. The Cincinnati Shakespeare Company opens its 15th Anniversary Season with Peter Shaffer's Amadeus, winner of the 1981 Tony Award for Best Play and 1984 Academy Award for Best Picture. Actors Bruce Cromer and Christopher Guthrie talk about the rehearsal process and how the show came together. The show runs through September 28th. For more information visit their website. |

The 60's Live!: My Generation, My Music
Saturday, September 13 at 8pm
The My Music series presents an extra-special three-hour event focusing on the hit-making artists from 1965-1969. This musical feast of essential folk-rock, rhythm and blues and pop classics is hosted live by Vicki Lawrence (The Carol Burnett Show) and Mike Farrell (M*A*S*H) and co-hosted by Michelle Phillips, of the Mamas and the Papas, and the Smothers Brothers, Tommy and Dick.

Andre Rieu: Live in Vienna

Andre Rieu and the Johann Straus Orchestra perform compositions by famous Viennese composers in front of Vienna's Hofburg Palace. The Ballet of Vienna State Opera, the Vienna debutantes from the Elmayer Dance School, the Platinum Tenors and sopranos Carmen Monarcha, Carla Maffioletti, Mirusia Louwerse and Suzan Erens join in on this all-new concert special. |

The Who at Kilburn 1977

On December 15, 1977, after a hiatus of more than a year, The Who - Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, John Entwistle and Keith Moon - assembled at the Gaumont State Theatre in Kilburn, North London, to record a concert for Jeff Stein's documentary The Kids Are Alright. Filmed before an invited audience, it turned out to be Keith Moon's penultimate live performance. Tune in for this never-before-released concert footage. |

After a childhood of playing cantinas and honky tonks from Texas to Tennessee, Los Lonely Boys have rocked their way to the top of the American music industry, determined to fulfill their father's long-held dream. This documentary feature film tells the story of three Mexican-American brothers from San Angelo, Texas, who create a unique sound that melds the core of the early San Angelo music scene of the 1950s and 60s into a signature style they call ''Texican.'' |
