Ruthven Puppies Series
From 1998 through 2001, world renowned wildlife illustrator John A. Ruthven was commissioned by CET to create a four print series entitled "Puppies." Surrounded by glorious dandelions, "Nellie," the English Setter, poses with a fishing net inside a wicker tackle box. "Sparky," the Golden Retriever, is nestled among wooden decoys and a whistle. He is wrapped up in his master's camouflage jacket. "Susie," the Springer Spaniel, is tan and cream. She is nestled in a bed of leaves and wrapped up in her master's hunting jacket. And "Shiloh," the Black Labrador, sits beneath a wooden fence gnawing at the shoelaces of his master's favorite boot. All prints are signed and numbered and measure approximately 14 inches by 18 inches. Each set of four will have the same number in the series. These cute puppies are only increasing in value from the original offering.
