Ready to Learn
To raise a successful child, parents and primary caregivers must take into consideration their health and safety, social and emotional growth, cognitive and language development, problem-solving and creative-thinking skills, and knowledge about their culture and heritage. Through the Ready To Learn service, CET offers free workshops for parents and daycare providers. Matched with the great children's programming like Barney and Friends, Sesame Street and Teletubbies, the workshops focus on the importance of actively viewing the programming and using that experience as a springboard to reading good children's books and doing developmentally appropriate activities. |
