Common Ground - Working for Change

The program Common Ground-Working for Change was produced by CET with media partner WCPO-TV9. WCPO produced videos shown during the program that illustrated many facets of the problems in our community leading to and stemming from racism. Between segments, members of a studio audience, along with viewers, presented their concerns and solutions.

Mapping Our Tears - Manuel Quezon III

Manuel's grandfather served as the first President of the Philippines from 1935–1944. Manuel recounts when The Frieders, a Cincinnati Jewish family with a cigar factory in Manila, approached his grandfather with a request to rescue Jewish refugees fleeing Nazi Germany. This video is an excerpt from "Mapping Our Tears" interactive, permanent exhibition, at The Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education at Hebrew Union College.

Mapping Our Tears - Roma Kaltman

Roma Kaltman, a survivor of the Lodz Ghetto and Auschwitz Concentration Camp, was forced on a death march in the winter of 1945. Along with her sister and best friend, the three girls escaped the march and struggled to find refuge. This video is an excerpt from “Mapping Our Tears” interactive, permanent exhibition, at The Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education at Hebrew Union College.
