About the Urban League of Greater Cincinnati

Founded in 1949, The Urban League of Greater Cincinnati works to create strong African American families and individuals who are fully educated, employed, empowered, healthy with quality housing, and whose contributions are valued and recognized as benefiting the total community. To achieve this goal, ULGC works to eliminate the barriers of racism and level the playing field for all African Americans and others at risk by promoting their economic self-sufficiency and entrepreneurship through effective leadership in the areas of comprehensive employment, youth and family development, and advocacy.
