CET Create Returns To Insight, Digital 48.2
CINCINNATI – Beginning January 5, 2009, a CET viewer favorite will be back on the CET air as Create returns to the Cincinnati airwaves.
Create, a 24-hour service providing the best of CET’s cooking, craft, travel and how-to programming, will be available on digital channel 48.2 and on Insight digital cable channel 219. Create was previously broadcast over-the-air from January 2006 to August 2007.
“Our viewers really enjoy the variety of programming offered on Create, such as Rick Steves’ Europe and This Old House,” said Jack Dominic, CET’s VP and Chief Operating Officer. “We are proud to offer these educational, entertaining and enriching shows, and by making this switch, can do so to a wider audience.”
Create will replace CET World on Insight digital cable channel 219 at approximately 10 a.m. on January 5, 2009. Time Warner Cable customers will not be affected by the change. Create will still be available on digital cable channel 949, while World will remain on digital cable channel 950.
