Local Broadcasting Icon Opens Up on Life, Career in New CET Series

CINCINNATI – Local broadcasting icon Nick Clooney gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at his life and career in a five-part interview series, Clooney on Clooney, premiering Monday, January 11 at 7:30 p.m. on CET.

 

Clooney, best known for his work in the radio and television industry, sits down with John Kiesewetter of The Cincinnati Enquirer for a comprehensive look at his early life, broadcast career, published works and recent work with The Newseum at American University. Nick, father of famous Hollywood actor George Clooney, also shares anecdotes from the two’s efforts to raise awareness of the genocide in Darfur and other memorable family moments.

 

Each episode of Clooney on Clooney will air at 7:30 p.m. on January 11, 12, 18, 19 and 20 on CET. Segments 1 – 3 will repeat on Sunday, January 17 from 4 – 5:30pm and the final two episodes will repeat on Sunday, January 24 from 4 – 5 p.m. The entire program will also be available for on-demand streaming at CETconnect.org.
