Alcoholism Council of Cincinnati & The Recovery Health Access Center

For the past sixty years, the Alcoholism Council of Cincinnati has made it its mission to minimize the problems associated with alcoholism and other drug dependency. They offer coordinated treatment and prevention services to adolescents, adults, the elderly, and their families. They even provide services for those children affected by alcohol and drug addiction.

In the summer of 2003, the Council expanded its ability to provide assessment, referral and treatment for individual and family counseling with the introduction of the Recovery Health Access Center (RHAC). The Recovery Health Access Center provides prevention programs, clinical assessments and treatment referrals to Hamilton County, Ohio residents.

On this episode of Focus, Kathy Lehr is joined by three experts who talk about how alcohol and drug addiction can be prevented and treated here in Greater Cincinnati.
