Asthma Awareness and the CAARE Project
Did you know that more than 13 percent of Ohio's children will be diagnosed with asthma during their lifetimes?
To combat this growing trend, the Community Asthma Awareness, Resources and Education for Family Care Providers Project (CAARE for Care Providers) offers asthma education to an underserved population of adults who are caring for children with asthma in Southwestern Ohio.
On this episode of Focus, Kathy Lehr talks with three experts about childhood asthma and how adults can help to reduce asthma triggers in childcare environments and homes.
The Community Asthma Awareness, Resources and Education for Family Care Providers Project is a partnership between CET, the American Lung Association of the Midland States, The United Way of Greater Cincinnati and ThinkTV in Dayton.
