In the past quarter century, Philip Glass has composed more than twenty operas; eight symphonies; two piano concertos; concertos for violin, piano, timpani, and saxophone quartet and orchestra; soundtracks for film and documentaries; and much more. Some of the people that he has collaborated with include Paul Simon, Linda Ronstadt, Yo-Yo Ma, Twyla Tharp, Allen Ginsberg, Woody Allen, and David Bowie.
