Voices of Giving: John F. Wolber
Nominated by: Spina Bifida Association of Cincinnati (Awarded Posthumously)
John F. Wolber was one of the biggest supporters of the Spina Bifida Association of Cincinnati and was so for many, many years. He was a loyal and dedicated participant of the association’s events, ever-willing to assist clients affected by spina bifida in any way. This caring approach and generous willingness flowed into everything he did for the association, and he was ready to assist, volunteer or support the mission in any way he could.
John passed away in January 2012 and left a bequest to Spina Bifida. The impact of this gift is difficult to put into words given the struggles that individuals suffering from spina bifida face. John’s generous bequest will allow the association to expand the programs and services offered to clients and their families and help the association continue to make a positive difference in their lives.
John Wolber was a remarkable man who thought of others throughout his lifetime and beyond. His planned gift provides an inspirational example for others to follow. It is a privilege for the Spina Bifida Association of Cincinnati to recognize John Wolber for his generous and lasting legacy which will benefit so many lives for many generations to come.
