Voices of Giving: Pauline Strayhorne
Pauline Strayhorne has been an avid supporter of Cincinnati Public Broadcasting since she moved to Cincinnati from Alabama in the 1940's.
Pauline's many contributions to CET span more than 40 years as a volunteer and a member of the Board of Trustees. And, giving to CET has long since become a family affair since her daughter frequently serves as a volunteer as well.
Pauline's dedication to innovative resources that engage, enrich, and educate our community is highlighted by her appointment by the Governor to the Ohio Educational Broadcasting Commission – where she served for eleven years.
Pauline decided to make a bequest to CET since she has personally seen, over the course of decades, the enormous contribution that CET has made to the quality of life in Greater Cincinnati.
CET, whose funding is more than 50% dependent on the support of the local tri-state community, is ever grateful to Pauline Strayhorne for making such a thoughtful gesture to ensure that its mission will endure and thrive for many more generations to come.
