Voices of Giving: Trudy Bernet

Trudy Bernet and her late husband, Bob, have supported Twin Towers, both prior to retirement as well as today. Trudy has been a blessing and asset to the community since moving into Twin Towers in 2004. Her involvement includes financial support, resident leadership, volunteerism, and avid participation in community events - such as the “Celebrate Every Day” campaign.

Trudy truly wishes current and future residents of Twin Towers to experience the same love, joy, and service that she and Bob have enjoyed and helped create. Trudy gives annually and has also made important legacy gifts to the Benevolent Care Fund and the Pastoral Care Fund. The Benevolent Care Fund provides much-needed operating funds when a resident has out-lived their financial resources and can no longer contribute to the cost of care. She also supports the Pastoral Care Fund because she has seen the positive impact the chaplains and spiritual support staff provide to residents, their families, and care associates.

Trudy Bernet’s joy of life, her care for others, and her generosity are an inspiration for all at Twin Towers. For this and for her enduring commitment to the future of Twin Towers and her fellow residents, Life Enriching Communities is eternally grateful.
