As you may have heard, earlier this week U.S. District Judge Randolph Moss ruled that the executive order directing an end to federal funding for PBS and NPR is unlawful, unenforceable, and in violation of our longstanding First Amendment principles. We know that you may be wondering what this means for CET and Think^TV. 

Unfortunately, this decision does not restore our federal funding. Congress’ vote to approve the rescission was a separate process from the executive order. Still, this sets a great precedent for public media and serves as a meaningful affirmation of the essential role that we play in our democracy. 

So, as we celebrate wins big and small, I want to thank you for supporting us through it all. Because of you, we will continue to educate, engage, entertain, inspire, and inform with our content and services. Thank you.
