This one-hour documentary from CET and Think^TV tells the incredible journey of Dr. O’dell Moreno Owens – physician, educator, public servant, and lifelong champion for Cincinnati. This film is a celebration of the power of perseverance and the joy of community.

Born in Cincinnati’s West End, Dr. Owens overcame poverty and personal tragedy. Although told he was not college material, Dr. Owens earned advanced degrees from Yale and Harvard and became a medical pioneer in the field of in vitro fertilization. Interviews with family, friends and colleagues provide intimate accounts of how his extraordinary life unfolded.
