What does a thriving city look like through the imaginations of Black visionaries and changemakers? Join host Naimah Bilal for Urban Consulate Presents: Black Future City, a candid conversation about dreams, ideas and strategies for the future of Cincinnati.

In this televised special premiering Thursday, February 25, 8pm CET, Bilal explores two dimensions of community vitality – Soul and Systems – with special guests Eileen Cooper Reed, Dr. Angelica Hardee, Damian Hoskins, Luna Malbroux, Toilynn O’Neal Turner and Andrew Tudor. The show features Cincinnati musical talent and ends with a call to creative reflection and collaborative action.

Black Future City is not just a show, but an ongoing citywide conversation scored for many voices. In this spirit, Urban Consulate & CET invite viewers to a virtual watch party with interactive dialogue immediately following the broadcast. Learn more.

Urban Consulate is a network of parlors for urban exchange. Since 2016, the Consulate has hosted hundreds of conversations in Detroit, Philadelphia, New Orleans, Austin, Cincinnati and Chicagoland to bring people together and share ideas for better cities. CET is looking forward to this partnership with Urban Consulate Cincinnati to help bring more people to the table and to expand the conversation.
