  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 can of pumpkin (1lb 13oz)
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 sticks of butter (melted)
  • Cool Whip or whipped cream


  1. First, you will need to preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. While the oven is preheating, beat the eggs and then mix the milk, sugar, pumpkin, and spices until the mixture is well combined.
  3. Then, pour the mixture into a greased 13×9 inch pan.
  4. Sprinkle dry cake mix and nuts over the top of the mixture.
  5. After that drizzle melted butter over the top.
  6. Bake for 1 hour, until it is golden brown.
  7. Let it cool for 15-20 minutes and then serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
