Moonflower Murders starts off with Susan enjoying life in Crete with her partner Andreas when a couple arrives desperately asking for her help. Their daughter is missing and they believe it to be linked to a murder that happened in their hotel years ago.
Eight years ago, Frank Parris was murdered at a British country hotel. Alan Conway visited the hotel, using the murder as a basis for his novel – possibly leaving clues. The hotel owners’ daughter, Cecily Treherne, reads Alan’s book and questions whether the right man was arrested. She then goes missing.
In an effort to help the couple find their missing daughter, Susan investigates the hotel murder herself, connecting the details of Alan’s book to those of the real-life murder – and now Cecily’s disappearance. Can she uncover the secret hidden in the book and find Cecily before it is too late? Follow Susan’s investigation alongside the storyline of the novel that could be hiding the answer to it all.
