Michael R. Miller is an Executive Vice President and Chief Trust Officer at LCNB National Bank. As Head of the Trust Department, Mike brings over thirty years of legal, financial and trust experience from his years as a practicing attorney and his work at other financial institutions. His role within the Trust Department is to establish the overall strategic vision, effectively manage the various initiatives and processes, and ensure that department personnel have the tools and resources necessary to facilitate the proper execution of trust and investment services for LCNB clients. He is also a member of the bank’s Executive Management team, which has responsibility for managing the strategic and business affairs of the organization.

Mike received his Bachelor of Science from Bowling Green State University in 1980 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1983. A licensed attorney, he is an Ohio State Bar Association Certified Specialist in Estate Planning Trust and Probate Law. He earned his Certified Financial PlannerTM designation in 2003.

Mike is an alumnus of both Leadership Warren County and Leadership Cincinnati. He is a member of the Cincinnati Estate Planning Council, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cincinnati Bar Association. He is a judge for the annual UC Goering Center business awards, a member of the CET Planned Giving Committee, and a member of the Sinclair College Foundation Board of Trustees.

David earned his bachelor’s in marketing and management from the University of Kentucky and law degree from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University.

Chris has practiced law in the personal planning area in Greater Cincinnati for over 30 years. She practices in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, prenuptial agreements and strategic philanthropy. She facilitates her clients’ generosity by counseling them in the management and disposition of property during lifetime, at death and after death, as well as in the related tax and personal considerations. Chris describes her approach to estate planning as holistic. It is not just about things and numbers; it is about the people and their relationships with one another.

Chris is a frequent lecturer and has published a variety of articles on a wide range of subjects in the area of estate planning and meets regularly with informal groups of estate planning attorneys to network and stay on top of trends and issues facing estate planners. She has been selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America for her work in Trusts and Estates law from 2003-2017. Based on the grading and comments of her peers, Chris is recognized with an AV Rating, the highest rating given to lawyers by Martindale-Hubbell. From 2004-2019, she has been chosen by her peers as an Ohio Super Lawyer. Chris is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. Beginning in 2003, the Ohio State Bar Association certified Chris as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law.

Chris is a Co-Chair of the Firm’s Women’s Professional Development Group.

Since she deals with very personal client issues, Chris’s work philosophy is to emphasize the importance of good rapport and communication with her clients so that she fully understands what is most important to her clients. She is passionate about her family and credits her daughter, Maria, with reminding her to laugh and to remember what is really important. A little known fact about Chris: she was part of a women’s intramural football team in law school.

With a thorough understanding of estate and trust law, Kristin represents a variety of individuals in estate planning and probate and trust administration matters. Focusing largely on the planning side, she leverages a practical, real-world approach to helping clients minimize the complications associated with the transfer of wealth. Understanding that estate planning sometimes involves an emotional component and complex family dynamics, Kristin tailors her approach to each client, quickly discerning their goals and laying out a strategy to help them get there. By building relationships with clients, she is also able to advise them on other matters, including general business needs, business and LLC formation and implementing business succession plans. Building on her past experience with a large accounting firm, Kristin also advises closely-held businesses, charitable organizations and family foundations on a variety of tax and business matters.

Kristin received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati. She is an Ohio State Bar Association Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law. Beyond her practice, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children, and in 2012 she co-authored a children’s book called “The Notre Dame Spirit,” which highlights the picturesque and legendary South Bend campus through the eyes of a first-time visitor.
