ThinkTV Partners with PBS Kids and Dayton Metro Library to Present Digital Storytelling Collection

To encourage family engagement and a love of reading at home, ThinkTV and CET are proud to partner with PBS Kids and the Dayton Metro Library to provide families with an online collection of video storybooks! These digital video storybooks feature dozens of storybooks read aloud by local and national celebrities. Our Read-Along project encourages a love of reading at home, helps young learner to explore books on their own, and offers parents and caregivers tips to make reading time fun for the whole family!

“Reading books aloud to children stimulates their imagination and expands their understanding of the world. It helps them develop language and listening skills and prepares them to understand the written word. Even after children learn to read by themselves, it’s still important for to read aloud together. Reading to your child — at any age — will boost their brain development, your bond, and so much more! And all it takes is a few books, motivation, and just a little time to connect,” said Greg Schell, the ThinkTV lead on the project.
