Our region is home to strong, vibrant, and thriving arts and cultural communities. The Art Show profiles local artists, organizations and exhibits. In Season 15, we’ve spotlighted creators and creations in Southwest Ohio and beyond, including the Wright Company Factory murals in Dayton, the Rhinestones synchronized swim team in Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine neighborhood and Ohio Heritage Fellow Susan Abramovitz of Rock Riffle Run Pottery in Athens, Ohio.

More features are coming your way in the new year, with the next new episode premiering Saturday, January 17, at 6pm on CET. The Art Show producers also create Insider Segments, blogs and more. Learn more on our website: https://www.cetconnect.org/theartshow/.

Our local cooking show, Stephanie’s Recipe Journal, kicked off in September and has been bringing us delightful dishes ever since. So far, Stephanie has guided us through her recipes for challah bread, checkerboard cake, pumpkin-shaped cinnamon rolls and holiday appetizers, sharing her stories, baking tips and recipe cards along the way.

As the season continues, we have future episodes planned that feature recipes for soups, appetizers and other delights. The next episode premieres in February, and will feature Stephanie’s wild rice soup. Stephanie’s Recipe Journal takes inspiration from our long-running YouTube series, The Baking Journal. SHOWCASE with Barbara Kellar

Now in its 17th season, SHOWCASE with Barbara Kellar continues to shine a light on luminaries of our local community, from arts and cultural leaders to philanthropists. This season has brought us exclusive conversations with Robert McGrath, President and CEO of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra; Elizabeth Pierce, CEO of the Cincinnati Museum Center; and Jackie Congedo, CEO of the Holocaust and Humanity Center, among others.

In October, we introduced “Showcase Encore Presentations,” a collection of past episodes that still feel just as meaningful now as when they first aired. This series has given us a chance to revisit interviews with Cincinnati figures like restaurateur Jeff Ruby and wildlife artist John Ruthven. New and encore episodes air Saturdays, at 6:30pm on CET and Sundays at 8:30pm on CET Arts. Learn more about SHOWCASE with Barbara Kellar on our website: https://www.cetconnect.org/showcase/.
